Our Mission at the Haslewey

We are a non-government funded community centre with a wide range of daily activities to suit all needs. With a warm welcome and lots of fun activities, we strive to offer a place for people of all ages to come and enjoy. At the Haslewey, we are all about the community: come and join us for our weekly activities and one-off events or enjoy a coffee at our café. We also offer several community services, which you can find out about on our Community Services section.

Who We Are

The Haslewey is a registered charity supported by Waverley Borough Council. To enable us to continue to benefit the local community, we are heavily dependent on income we generate from room hire, services we offer and fundraising. The centre is run by a board of trustees and members. The Centre Manager is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who help in all aspects of the running of the Haslewey. We have volunteering positions for all skill sets and for all ages. For more information please see the Volunteering page of the website.
