More than just a building,
it’s a
community

Haslewey is a local charity and community hub, with friendly faces and plenty to enjoy

At the heart of Haslemere's community

A welcoming community centre offering activities, exercise classes, café, room hire, everyday services, volunteering and community support.

At Haslewey, we’re all about bringing people together. Whether you’re popping in for an exercise class, meeting friends in the café or looking for the perfect space to host an event, you’ll always find a warm welcome here. As an independent charity, we offer affordable room hire for everything from big celebrations to small get-togethers, with spaces designed to fit whatever you have in mind.

We also run a variety of daily activities, special events and community services — including our much-loved Haslewey café, a podiatrist, hairdressers, affordable counselling service and our community Post Office. Every time you visit, join an activity or book a room, you’re helping us continue the work we love: creating a friendly, supportive place for the whole community to enjoy.

I love coming to Stretch, Strength & Tone class with Eva - it has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Everyone gets on so well. I also enjoy Art Club, where I've grown in confidence and definitely improved my painting skills.
